This weeks Ninja Tip is exactly as the title says, the free GIFT! What is it that you can offer to your audience as a gift?
Why would a potential client ever want to enter your world, unless you give them a reason to do so?
There are literally hundreds of ways to attract and collect B2B Leads. But I always say to my clients that there's no point in even starting a marketing journey without 3 essential building blocks - your free gift, a high converting landing page and a continuous stream of visitors!
If they are not ready to buy (or if they don’t fully understand or appreciate how you can help them), why would they ever want to visit your website, book you for a meeting or voluntarily hand over their contact information?
This is where the power of a ‘Lead Magnet’ comes in, a reason for them to provide their contact details in exchange for something valuable (from you).
Here are some ideas for your next freebie :
E-book: A well-written and informative e-book can be a valuable resource for potential customers and a great way to showcase your expertise in a particular subject.
Whitepaper: A whitepaper is a longer, more in-depth document that covers a specific topic in detail. Providing a free whitepaper can be a great way to demonstrate your knowledge and establish your company as a thought leader in your industry.
Checklist or worksheet: Practical resources such as checklists and worksheets can be useful for potential customers looking to solve a specific problem or accomplish a specific task. Providing a free download of a helpful resource like this can be a great way to capture leads and demonstrate your value to potential customers.
Then, what about an engine to deliver that gift, capture their information and zap it over automatically to your mailing list, with automated email sequences and nurturing methods?
It can be a minefield, but take things 1 step at a time, and it all kind of fits in to place. Personally, I use CANVA and STREAMYARD to create my free gifts (e-books, and educational videos), MEMBERVAULT to deliver the product, MAILERLITE to store my contacts and email sequences, and ZAPIER to make more complicated workflow sequences.
Once you get used to these tools, they all just seem to work nicely. A little determination and hard effort up front, but well worth the effort in my opinion!
And now the best part (especially if you are in a B2B sales environment - using LinkedIn to generate views, extract data and convert those visitors!
LinkedIn is the worlds largest database of decision makers! It's all right there. There are some amazing tools out there to help you extract (scrape) data compliantly, and automate the targeting of your message and free gift (all GDPR compliant).
