Social Proof, LinkedIn About Section & Pictory

Hi everyone

This weeks ninja tip is a powerful one, and one of the easiest to implement on your LinkedIn profile. Let's talk social proof. 

Also, make sure you keep reading on, as I've also turned my 'about' section in to a short video clip using a cool new AI tool I found.

Take one of your clients, and incorporate a one or two line sentence in your 'about' section to highlight them, the problem that they were experiencing before working with you, how you solved their problem, and the outcome.

I know this sounds incredibly simple, but 95% of the profiles that I see, do not ANY social proof within the 'about' section.

Of course, you may need to ask permission from your client to mention them (always good manners). 

The psychological triggers and benefits of having social proof inside your 'about' section can be incredible. It can be the catalyst that makes your audience reach out, follow and send that connection request.

Next up, I wanted to let you know about a cool new digital tool I found called Pictory.

Pictory is an AI video generator that enables you to easily create and edit high-quality videos. One of the best aspects of the tool is that you don’t need any experience in video editing or design.

I gave it a try this week, and used the 'script to video' feature. I was impressed! I simply copy and pasted my LinkedIn 'about' section in to the tool, and it created a video for me. Click below to see the video it created. Not bad!
