The Making Digital Real Blogs Ninja Tip of the Week #7 - Pinning Comments on LinkedIn

Ninja Tip of the Week #7 - Pinning Comments on LinkedIn

10/15/2022

Morning . This weeks tip is a goodie! Did you know, you can now pin a comment within the LinkedIn post reply section? I'm loving this feature, and I'll tell you why...

LinkedIn has long enabled business page users to pin your latest content on your LinkedIn company page, enabling you to show your top posts at the top of your business page profile.

And now the pin comments feature is available in your profile posts!

Imagine being able to highlight the best responses you've received from one of your post, which then sparks more engagement.

After all, it's what the algorithm is ultimately looking for. If it see's more engagement in your post, the more chance you have of your content appearing in more LinkedIn users feeds.

How To Pin a Comment

To pin a comment from your post, simply navigate to the comment itself, and click on the 3 black dots.

If you make a mistake, you can use the same process to unpin a comment too.

It's also a great way of simply thanking users for engaging with your post in a creative or thoughtful way. Imagine seeing a comment, pinning it, and then thanking that person in the form of a reply. When the user see's this, they will notice that you have pinned their comment to the to top of the section.

Have you pinned a comment yet from one of your posts? Give it a try and let me know how you get on in the Making Digital Real Facebook Group.
