LinkedIn Ads - Ninja Tip of the Week 8

Good Morning Digiteers,

I get asked all the time about LinkedIn ad's, and whether it's worth paying LinkedIn to distribute my content. My answer is never as straightforward as people want it to be, but I decided to run a paid ad's campaign last week, so you can see the results and decide for yourself.

I decided to go for a VIDEO AD.

This means a video of my choosing will play in my target audiences feed. This video was aimed at recruitment firms with between 50-200 headcount (staff members). The great thing about ads, is that I can target my video in to the right demographic and target prospects. 

It's not just video's you can promote. It can be documents or images. You can even venture in to the world retargeting which means targetting only those that visit your website for example. There is plenty to discover in LinkedIn Ad's if you take the time to explore.

Anyway, here are my results after around 4 days.

So, as you can see, LinkedIn have placed my video in to 6,551 peoples feeds, which has generated 7,585 impressions, and 6 clicks. 6 people have clicked through the call to action to my landing page to request more information (all 6 have requested, which means 6 leads). So far, the campaign has cost me £61 and I have set a maximum budget to £100. 

Is It Worth It?

For 6 enquiries at a cost of £60, £10 per lead, that's pretty good! But only because I used the system correctly. I spent time understanding my content, the value, the target audience and how to take my leads down a precise, clear marketing funnel (my landing page).
